I have had my eye on this necklace for several months, leaving it on my favorites list and cart to think it over before purchasing. When I saw there was a sale, I went ahead with my purchase, excited to see how it would turn out. While the name pendant came out really cool (font #44), I'm a bit let down by the quality of the chain and clasp (I am a metalsmith/jewelry maker as well). The clasp catches on my hair due to some uneven finishing, and the chain itself feels too lightweight in comparison to the name part (I selected the cable style, 20" length), making the necklace imbalanced. Perhaps if I selected a different font, the weight difference wouldn't be as noticeable. While I can easily swap out the clasp and chain, I wanted to mention this for others looking to purchase. Otherwise, it's a great necklace!
